An Italian pipe workshop founded in 1947 by Enea Buzzi and Achille Savinelli. Production sat in the town of Brebbia, long known for handwork in wood, while sales ran out of Milan.
The aim was to make good pipes at a time when the market was full of cheap ones: the "Genuine Briar Pipes" stamp existed precisely because buyers would not believe real briar could cost so little.
The partners split in 1956 — Savinelli built his own factory and Buzzi kept the Manifatture Pipe Brebbia name. Rough turning is still done on a lathe, with every pipe finished by hand.
